This is the third of a series of Barnardo Biographies published by Badgerwood Publications LLP. The author made the remarkable journey from Barnardo boy to Brain Surgeon.His life as a boy in Dr Barnardo’s Homes, destined to go to sea, becomes that of a public schoolboy, medical student, military surgeon, and finally he becomes a neurosurgeon. He follows the various strandsaround which his life has been woven, to show the fabric of an unwanted child’s existence, and his endeavours to make use of it.
